In this new role, McNamara will lead and oversee the sales, sales operations and customer success teams and is responsible for driving Glassdoor’s go-to-market vision, strategy and execution.

Most recently, McNamara served as Glassdoor’s vice president of customer success and general manager of international. In the past four years, he has also held a variety of other senior leadership roles with Glassdoor, including overseeing Sales Operations and Content & Community.
Before joining Glassdoor in 2017, Chris was the chief operating officer of DesignCrowd, a venture-backed marketplace business, where he built the go-to-market model from the ground up and led account management, channel sales, and customer success alongside other operational functions.
Earlier in his career, he held strategy, consulting, and banking roles at Perpetual Limited, Strategy& and Morgan Stanley. Chris holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of New South Wales.

Japanese firm Recruit Holdings acquired Glassdoor in 2018 for US$1.2 billion.
